McKay's Fall Program

McKay had his fall program a few weeks ago. I was impressed with his amount of participation. Although he got a little too excited and distracted by the fact that Mom & Dad were there. He did do a lot better than at his preschool program.

It was so fun to see him up there singing all the songs that I had been hearing bits and pieces of for weeks. He is growing up way too fast.

Clapping for himself with his excited face.

Starting Solids

Clara has started eating solids. She isn't quite sure if she likes it or not, and she is still figuring out how to keep the food in her mouth. She has just had rice cereal a handful of times but I'm sure she will get it the hang of it eventually. She has a lifetime of wonderful food to look forward to.

It's never too early...

to start exercising that is. McKay has taken a liking to our elliptical machine and has a new favorite song, Lollipop by Mika. This clip combines both. He's feeling the music so much that he lets go with one hand to try and dance more but the results aren't great. Also notice Ellie trying to sing along in the background.

My buddy and me!

I love watching my kids interact. I especially love the interest McKay and Ellie are taking in Clara. McKay really loves to play with her. I can't leave her anywhere without McKay climbing on her, patting her belly, smooshing her cheeks, or lately making her sit up. It makes me a little nervous especially when he is doing by her neck, but unless she in danger I just try to stand back and let them bond. On this special occasion every time he tried to pick her up she started to giggle. He was very proud, and I got a kick out of it as well.

Rolling Over ... Almost

Clara is growing so quickly and time is flying by. I can't believe she will be 4 months in a couple of days. In the last week she has started working on rolling over. She can get about half way there. She works so hard to make it happen. I love her little grunts and squeals as she exerts herself. It's only a matter of time and she will be pro.

If you look closely in this picture you can catch a glimps of her amazing eyelashes. They are not dark yet but very long. Lucky Girl!

Preschool Celebration

All the parents were invited to McKay's class for a celebration. They first put on a little performance then we got to enjoy free time and play games and it ended with treats. This school has been such a wonderful blessing in McKay's life, not to mention mine. These teachers care so much about the students. He has come so far with his speech and has really learned a lot. I'm excited that his best friend from class is going to be in his kindergarten class next year.

Doing the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

He was talking about this book "5 Little Sea Creatures" for a week. He was so excited when he got to read it to me and bring it home. That night we even had to take it to Bajio to show dad.

Playtime!!

The other day I came up the stairs to find that McKay and Ellie had set up a picnic on the landings. They had all their play food spread out on their blankets and were having a wonderful time.

All that eating really made them tired!

This is from a different day. They were throwing their imaginary play friends into the air on their blanket. Notice how they stop two different times to add more friends.
